Having the 25mm swingling manual fire hose reel installed makes it easier to pull the fire hose with you as you head towards the flames and the reel swivels in the direction of travel. Supplied with the fire hose and jet/spray nozzle already fitted, this is ready to mount using the wall brackets and fitting to the water with the flexible inlet pipe and gate valve included.

The 25mm hose tubing is compliant with EN 394, and is constructed of a rubber/PVC blend which is perfect for tough environments with a total length of 30 metres and working pressure of 12 bar. The fire hose reel is manufactured for Vigil Products of durable UV-resistant powder-coated steel and brass, are LCPB approved and certified to EN 671-1.

Manual fire hose reels are often chosen for external locations as they are perfect for locations which are prone to frost. When you need to use your hose reel, simply open the gate valve (just as you would turn on the tap for your garden hose) to allow the water to flow through – as water is not within the hose or pipework when not in use, they are less prone to damage caused by freezing water.
